The fixed costs of wave, tidal, and offshore wind could be decreased by combining all three in a single continental shelf structure. A wind turbine sunk to the seabed could use its undersea structure to support a wave and tidal generator as well.

There are more tidal power articles and resources in our tidal power category. Scroll down to the bottom for links to other good sites on the topic.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

I am a German student of Geography. In a seminary, the main subject is renewable energy. My theme is "tidal power plants". On your homepage I still found some information, but it is possible, that you could send me some more?

Thank you a lot in advance!

I would like to introduce an alternative means to harness wave, flowing stream and wind alike.

It was first designed for "wind" application. Since it is so sensitive to low speed current (1 m/h) therefore it can be adapt to other energy resource such as tide, stream and specially wave with both reciprocal motion and the flow of the ocean wave surface current.

You are invite to experience them yourself at

Very Kindly Yours,
