Duke energy is one of the largest producers of electricity from coal in the US. Lately they have shown a lot of interest in renewable energy and have even invested in wind farms and green energy credits. However they do have a new mandate to met the 20% renewable requirement so I am not sure whether there actions are environmentally driven or survial driven. Either way it is good to see them making moves toward renewable energy.

Almost anything can produce the electricity and it's 1/10th the cost per mile driven than gas when it comes off the gird.

I really appreciate your publications but with this one I have a problem. I do not agree with calling FPL a company with commitment to green energy since they just placed another nuclear reactor in Turkey Point after they collected money for alternative energy programs. Furthermore it might be a good idea for FPL to look out for smaller trucks and cars instead of all this over-sized heavy gas gosling equipment they have.
