Senergy Appoints Alternative Energy Consultant
Senergy Limited, the Aberdeen based oil and gas consultancy, has strengthened its energy capabilities with the appointment of Nial McCollam as a consultant on alternative energy. Highly regarded in the sector, Nial will be focusing on developing a strategy for Senergy beyond the oil and gas sector.
Nial is the former chief executive officer of ITI Energy. He brings extensive expertise in the alternative energy sector and has headed research and development projects totalling £30m. His experience will be catalytic in helping Senergy develop a significant presence in energy markets beyond oil and gas.
Commenting on this new role Senergy director, Henry Allen said: “Alternative energy is very much part of the Senergy vision and we are committed to developing a significant presence in the sector. Nial’s appointment will enable us to fast-track our strategy. His knowledge and experience combined with our existing core expertise makes us a formidable force in the sector. Nial will be based at the Senergy offices in Banchory and Aberdeen.
