New paths toward zero-carbon biofuel
(Bali, Indonesia) Today at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia, Primafuel, bioenergy-specialist situated in Signal Hill (California, USA) presents a new and innovative approach for the production of zero-carbon fuels. The two week UN Climate Change Conference, hosted by the Government of Indonesia, brings together UN representatives from more than 180 countries, along with representatives of hightech-companies and NGOs, legal advisers and industry experts. The conference includes meetings of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the parent treaty of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. A key goal of the conference is defining an international cooperation framework that will last past 2012, when the Kyoto Protocol is set to expire.

Experts are constantly calling attention to the risk of the reduction of cultivable land and rising prices for food. Therefore, Primafuel is focusing on economically, environmentally and socially sustainable solutions for the production of zero-carbon fuels. Additionally, unlike most current facilities, Primafuels refineries can process multiple feedstock. This way the biofuel providers can adapt to changing supplies and prices of feedstock and don’t depend on the availability of any one feedstock.
