American Agri-Diesel, LLC Retains Equity Partners, Inc.
(Burlington, CO) American Agri-Diesel, LLC has retained Equity Partners, Inc. (“EPI”) to find a buyer for its ASTM certified, fully operational biodiesel refinery.
American Agri-Diesel is a 6,000,000 core capacity biodiesel refinery, located in Burlington, CO, very near to US Route 70, a major East-West artery, and only 30 miles from the Kansas border. The refinery is designed to produce more than 1,000 gallons of biodiesel per hour. The refinery sits on 2.5 acres.
Biodiesel is a viable, immediately available, and environmentally friendly organic fuel and is the fastest growing alternative fuel source in the United States. It can be used in any proportion, up to 100%, with petroleum diesel fuel, requires little to no engine modification and maintains payload and range capacities. It is biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and other aromatics. Fred Cross, a partner at Equity Partners, Inc, says that “These factors, combined with the high price of petroleum, and government subsidies for biodiesel, make biodiesel refining a potentially lucrative investment.”
No asking price has been determined. The seller is primarily a builder who does not wish to be an operator and seeks the highest and best offer possible through a relatively quick sale process.
