I am familiar with the Fresnel lenses and their function in lighthouses application of the concepts in measuring patterns of radar energy transmission for ATC radars. I am Retired Col, USAF, and a meteorologist in the AF for 30 years. I have interest in pursuing application of these energy saving concepts in the building industry, especially where I live–in Florida.

Steps are making progress to higher Solar Cell to Volts Generation, but the speed of progress appear quite slow. I believe the above uses mirrors to direct sun/heat to boost power. This has problems of size, for the collectors.

Come on people… let’s do your own system safely, most power companies do not seem to care very much. I will start building a couple of windmills to start the saving oil and the planet process, then will try something more serious.
