Hydrogen is a storage medium, like a battery. A very inefficient one at that. Currently, using batteries is much more energy-efficient (less loss).

Hydrogen is NOT a lost cause, no matter what the naysayers say... we consistently have people getting 20-50% mileage improvements using our generators. Our newest line is even more efficient and put out twice the amount of hydrogen. It DOES help the gas to burn way more efficiently, extracting more energy out before it exits the exhaust. Many of our customers RETURN to buy other products from us- something they would not do if the products didn't work. I know experimenters who have been able to lean out the air/fuel ratio to 40:1 using hydrogen WITH gasoline, so don't tell me it can't work - I see it all the time...

Uh... question. If Hydrogen is such a lost cause, why are Brilliant minds of this age studying how to harness its power and uses, as well as trying to construct new things with it, such as a lithium-hydrogen alloy?

I want to know more about work with the solar cells fed by Fresnel lenses to efficiently collect the solar energy. And these lenses may be made from plastic. And can be incorporated into a building design, because they are small (technology of Fresnel lenses been around since 1800's). Study being developed at Univ of Lleida in Spain. The source of energy is the sun--doesn't get much cheaper than that.

I'd like to know more about Infra Red collectors. Saw a prototype 2 weeks ago and feel the possibilities could revolutionize the way we collect energy.
