Glad to hear that they expect 202 MPGs from the car. New innovation is needed in the Hybrid industry. I am very glad to see that Kia used recycled materials in this project.

I'd have to say you are off a bit Jillian, most people can afford these type of cars as long as they aren't absurdly priced. And by that I mean over 50,000. When gas was 4 dollars a gallon there were so many prius cars and smart cars out there that I thought everybody traded in their old car for a hybrid.

The biggest problem with green cars is that the concepts are so amazing looking (most of them, anyway) but they never get to production or if they do they look nothing like the original. No futuristic look, just the typical cookie cutter look we've seen for years now.

I love concept cars, but never expect to drive one. The real world model will probably change all the specs for the worse, and the design won't be so pretty.

But it is still a great concept.

More and more we are seeing these cars that are creating less and less pollution and I think it is great how fast the demand is increasing for cars like this. Since I work in the auto movers industry I get to see the changes, its nice to see these cars becoming more and more popular.

We just wait to see the technology reach Africa and more Kenya. Its a wonderful concept and a utility of the future. Refine the gaps(product, costing, market etc) and get it to the market. Kudos!

What's the price tag? One problem with green vehicles is that they are completely unaffordable for most people. I wonder how relevant the technology will be once I can actually get my hands on one that's ten years old. Also, I've just always heard that Kia's don't hold up well, that they aren't made very well...hence the current affordability.
