I guess this is certainly a great invention… but i would also like to know that if this technology can be used on other battery operated devices… other than toy cars…

Kids never learn what you want them to. They always pick up on something else in the lesson. In this case, kids are given the opportunity to learn how renewables can power stuff, but they will probably learn “environmental stuff is ugly” instead.

How long have you been living in the USA? Looks certainly matter — for the kids to want to play with it and for the adults to want to buy it — I am not saying that is the way I want it — but it is REALITY. (where I live)

This is defo a step in the right direction – now what would be really cool would be a unit that would power whatever was plugged into it – such as mobiles, iPods, even laptops sometime down the line. Keep up the good work

Cool that it runs on sugar… but how does it juice power out of sugar? Some kind of fuel cell or is it something different? it would be better if the technology behind sugar power was also included in this article…

What is with this design? That has to be one of the most unattractive looking cars for kids I have ever seen…. now I have always been looking for alternatives to battery powered toys — it has become almost impossible..
